Bitter.

Good evening. (pre-insomnia hour). Today I finally have a chance to update this after like 1.5 weeks or however many stupid hours it took to relocate my hobo load. I am sure everyone was dying to read this. I will start from last Friday because last Friday was amusing. Mr. Schizo decides to loiter by the unit double doors with a folded magazine nudged into his mouth glaring at me as I attempt to open the doors to let approx 5 pts back into the unit. Upon entering the doorway, I knock down a wet floor sign, keep one hand on the door knob and the other reaches for the fallen sign while, Mr. Schizo, decides to BOLT behind me and out the door. GREAT. On his defense he did just get new running shoes and really wanted to test them out as he was enacting agility moves earlier that day on the unit with his goofy smile. So he skids out and halts, glares at me, grins, and takes off like a two year old in a parking lot. He turns a corner, I finally get my keys out of the door, and he's out of my sight. My OT catches him at the other end, 2 staff run out the same door after him and he runs back into the unit doors as if he was completing a jog around a loop. SILLY SILLY SCHIZO.

Today was my first day of my first week of running groups all by myself. I have about 9 in one week. We did coping skills and community living skills. Lucky me got to watch a new pt projectile vomit across the room. LOVELY. Called the unit nurse and she was wheeled away. I love nurses. Then called house cleaning and it was cleaned up! I LOVE housecleaning. Also went on an outing today from 4-6pm which was beyond the time I stay so blah I spent it with wondering pts in the middle of the woods with bugs. OK, it was in a park, they still wondered, and there were still bugs. One flew up my nose too.

I am tired and I want to make playdoh. Going to the food store to get through tomorrow. blahhhhhhhhh.

IF youre an ETOWN OT and you are reading this, you should blog on Blackboard or at least mass email the class. It really helps to see what people are doing and so far its just lauren and I. Its not easy when you live in the middle of bummbleppoop. thanks soo very much. Hope all you readers are breathing nicely in your non-cumberland environments:)I'm not bitter.
