Tickling Session.

So this morning, being a Monday, we have rounds from 8:45 to whenever. Half of the staff was wearing green ..strange. The entire treatment team meets and today just seemed like we were all tickling each other. Not the strange Glen Beck tickling, but we must have been laughing half the time about patients to the point that the staff on either side of me, including myself, were in tears. We usually review the events that take place over the weekend on the cottage and we had about 3 different fist fights, plus one false death that lasted 10 seconds.

Fist fight 1: psychotic miss i never shower/brush my hair/change my clothes ever/respond to things that aren't there and accuse staff of raping her, decided to punch a male CNA who by the way is about 2 feet taller than her and probably 100 pounds heavier. She got pinned down and put in 'seclusion' oooo.

Fist fight 2: Mr. schizo vs. Mr. pseudo staff/aerospace technician/ government administrator/ I lived with president Reagan/ pilot. Staff called it a fight between 2 seven yr olds.

Fist fight 3: miss I never shower vs. Mr. OCD/I never shower/I stay on my computer all day putting my music in alphabetical order. Miss-i-never-shower decided to come by Mr. OCD and slap/push his lap top into his lap, he stood up and yelled at her, she proceeded to throw punches.

10-seconds-in-Heaven man: Mr. Grumbles/perv was sitting on the porch area and all of a sudden falls off his chair. Nursing staff come over to him try to wake him, no response, try about 2 more times, after calling a Code Blue for EMS and he suddenly rumbles his lips and passes a HUGE FART....so he was just FINE hahhahaha. Mind you all of these events happened pretty much in the same hour...thank goodness I don't work at nite on weekends.

Today I led a coping skills group with Laura and a community living skills group. I also started making my scissor fabric pocket thinger out of 3 diff types of fabric black and white music notes, black and white paisley ish stuff and white and pink paisley for the lining. Then ill secure it with a button! Yes, it is exciting.
Tomorrow is crafts in the morning!! So glad I don't have to wipe any butts.
