Manic Attack.
So today yet another new admittance. Manic woman 2. Seriously? At least she was friendly and not as tangential/grandiose as the other ones. This morning staff and I were entertained by Manic woman 1 and Manic woman 2 doing exercises in the middle of unit floor. Each are forensic so they come in in their bright orange suits. Apparently MW2 is legally blind, plays the piano, likes to journal and can manage a check book. That make sense? She also has Brown's disease which she believes causes her to bleed through every orphace of her body. Some social worker said that's a disease Birds get. But the legally blind thing? She tells me this as shes playing the piano, looking me straight in the eye/answering all of my questions. So far all the manic ones have verbalized they like both sexes. Is it simply because there are just too many hours in the day because they never sleep and boredom sits in more often than people who are not manic so the sex not particularly preferred becomes a "Hey why not?" ? Maybe. Now Mr. I have inventions keeps following me around the unit. But I bet if I were male he'd prob do the same thing considering how wishywashy sexual orientations are on the unit. I led a self-awareness group on attitudes today and then a stress management group where we did journaling and listened to music. MW1 actually came to that and hardly spoke! She did journaling, drew pictures of plants and then blabbed about being setup/scammed into having a documented mental illness that she does not have. LOVELY. Need to do laundry this weekend. Wonder how much it will cost BAHH. Going to work on my in-service presentation on activity engagement and affects on psychiatric illness and hopefully try not to be very crabby about Cumtown. OH but today at "HILLBILLIES", Standing in line waiting to have my food beeped at the cashier and the guy behind me reaches over and grabs the food divider in front of me SERIOUSLY??? DO WE NEED TO LEARN MANNERS ALL OVER AGAIN PEOPLE??? Maybe he should join my social skills group. Maybe that's why so many people in Cumberland are in prisons/hospitals. I mean there are only what 4-5 major prisons in this city? OK, not crabby. The manic ladies will keep me in line tomorrow and Friday with their morning exercises and blind piano playing. Cyalatergoodbye.
